FAQ
Self Bank trading journal questions, answered.
Does Dusk Analyst work with Self Bank?
Yes. Self Bank trades can be imported into Dusk Analyst via CSV import + manual entry. You create an account and use CSV import or manual entry to get your trades in, then get the same journal, tags, calendars, performance analytics, AI insights and weekly reports as every other account. Self Bank does not currently expose MT4, MT5 or cTrader auto-sync in our 2026 audit of 356 brokers and prop firms, verified one by one against their own sites. If that changes, the connector appears in the brokers table on our home page and auto-sync becomes available the same way.
How do I sync Self Bank trades?
To sync Self Bank trades, create your free Dusk Analyst account and use CSV import + manual entry. CSV import reads your exported trade history into the journal, and manual entry covers individual trades or older accounts. Once your trades are in, you get the same analytics, AI insights and weekly reports as every other account. Self Bank does not currently offer MT4, MT5 or cTrader auto-sync in our 2026 audit, so this is the fastest supported path today; if the broker adds a supported terminal, auto-sync becomes available from the connectors panel.
Does Self Bank support MT4, MT5 or cTrader?
Self Bank doesn't run MT4, MT5 or cTrader, so trades reach your journal through CSV import and manual entry - which works with any broker, including Self Bank. Export your closed trades from the platform, import the file into Dusk Analyst on the free tier, and you get the full journal: win rate, expectancy, drawdown, equity curve and, on Pro, AI insights. If Self Bank adds one of those terminals later, auto-sync becomes available.
How do I get my Self Bank trades into a trading journal?
Export your closed trades from Self Bank (most platforms offer CSV export or a statement download), then import the file into Dusk Analyst - CSV import is available on the free tier. You can also log trades manually. Either way you get the full journal: win rate, expectancy, drawdown, equity curve and, on Pro, AI insights.
Can I use Dusk Analyst free with my Self Bank account?
Yes. The free tier gives you two accounts at $0 forever - no credit card. Create an account, connect or import your Self Bank trades, and you get the complete journal experience: metrics, reports and review tools. Pro ($25/month flat) removes the account limit and adds auto-sync where Self Bank supports MT4/MT5/cTrader, plus AI insights and monthly reports, and every new account gets Pro free for 5 trading days, no card.
Is my Self Bank login safe with Dusk Analyst?
Dusk Analyst never receives your Self Bank login or password. The connector is read-only: it reads the closed-trade history and sends it over HTTPS with a per-account API key. Nothing is ever placed, changed or withdrawn from your account, and the journal sees only trade records - not credentials. That design applies to every broker, including Self Bank.
Is Dusk Analyst really free?
Yes. The free tier costs $0 forever and includes two accounts, manual trade entry and CSV import - enough to journal a live account properly, with win rate, expectancy, drawdown and equity curve all calculated for you. There is no credit card required to start. Pro ($25/month flat) adds unlimited accounts, MT4/MT5/cTrader auto-sync, AI insights on your trading (1,000 trade-analyses a month), monthly reports and full export, and every new account gets Pro free for 5 trading days with no card. The pricing is deliberately simple: one plan, one price, no per-feature upsells.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, and it needs no card. Every new Dusk Analyst account gets Pro free for 5 trading days from sign-up: auto-sync from MT4, MT5 and cTrader, AI Insights with 1,000 credits, monthly reports and unlimited accounts. Add a card to keep it free for 10 more trading days; billing ($25/month) starts only after that, and you can cancel anytime from Billing in the app, with nothing charged.
Can I import my existing trade history?
Yes - CSV import is available on every plan, including free. If you've been tracking trades in a spreadsheet, broker export or another journal, export the CSV from wherever it lives and import it into Dusk Analyst; the journal matches it against your accounts and keeps your history continuous. Import is also the fallback for platforms that don't run MT4, MT5 or cTrader. For MT4/MT5/cTrader terminals, Pro auto-syncs going forward and the EA backfills any trades your terminal missed while it was off. Any platform that exports a CSV of your trade history works. Dusk Analyst recognises TradingView, Tradovate, cTrader, MT4 and MT5 exports on sight; for anything else you map your columns once and that parser is saved for next time. Comma, semicolon and tab files are all handled, day-first and month-first dates are detected from the file itself, and any row that cannot be read is listed for you rather than dropped quietly.
How many AI credits do I get with Dusk Analyst Pro?
Pro includes 1,000 AI trade-analyses every month. One credit covers one trade, so asking a question about a 40-trade week costs 40 credits and you can keep asking. The allowance resets on the 1st of each month and the counter sits in the top bar of the app, so you always know where you stand. Narrowing a question to one account or a shorter date range makes the same allowance go much further. Free accounts get a small number of AI credits to try AI Insights, alongside the full journal, analytics and weekly reports, and the free Pro week (5 trading days, no card) includes the full monthly allowance.
