Two cloud journals. One difference that matters: how your trades get in.

TraderSync and TradeZella are both solid cloud journals. TraderSync is more of a data-first tracker (imports, stats, a big community) and starts around $19-49/month; TradeZella markets AI harder at a higher price point. Both auto-import from brokers, but neither lists a native cTrader connector, and both have limited free tiers. DuskAnalyst approaches the same job differently: $25/month flat, genuine MT4/MT5/cTrader auto-sync via read-only Expert Advisors and a cBot, AI insights, and a free tier that is actually usable (manual entry, CSV import, two accounts, $0). Data is stored on Cloudflare, identity is handled by Auth0, billing by Stripe, and the AI that answers your insight questions runs on DeepSeek. No card is required for the free tier.

It depends on what matters. TraderSync is more established and has a deeper stats library and community; if you want maximum statistics out of the box and don't need native cTrader sync, it is a fine choice. DuskAnalyst wins where traders feel it most: automatic MT4/MT5/cTrader sync with no imports to babysit, AI insights on your own history, and a free tier with real import capacity. The honest answer is to trial both — both have free paths in.

TraderSync has a free plan but it is limited (a capped number of imports per month is a commonly reported pain point in trading communities). DuskAnalyst's free tier covers two accounts with manual entry, CSV import, tags, analytics and weekly report export at $0 with no card. When you are ready, Pro at $25/month adds unlimited accounts, MT4/MT5/cTrader auto-sync and AI insights.

DuskAnalyst does: a read-only Expert Advisor on MT4 or MT5 pushes every closed trade over HTTPS the moment it closes — no manual CSV exports. TraderSync supports broker auto-import for many brokers but does not list a native cTrader connector. If you trade MT4, MT5 or cTrader, DuskAnalyst's connectors cover all three. The EAs are read-only and record closed trades only; your broker password and login credentials never leave the terminal.

For funded traders the journal needs to track drawdown, daily loss and consistency rules alongside normal trade analytics.
